We are proud to offer the only pediatric emergency room in the area and the region's only neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) level III. HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is certified in advanced primary stroke care, is accredited as a comprehensive breast care center, and is the only accredited chest pain center in the area that offers primary PCI and resuscitation. In 1969, Lisenby Hospital was purchased by a group of individuals who immediately began making improvements, expanding the hospital to 50 rooms.
